for spending $26 billion we don't have
From the Financial Times ...
"The US will spend an estimated $26 billion in exchange-related subsidies in 2014 in order to support the purchase of private insurance plans by about 6 million people, with an average enrollee receiving $5,290 in subsidies next year."
Stu Pitt says ...
OMG! The government is going to spent a whopping $26 billion more in 2014 on health care. That's 26 billion MORE taxpayer dollars we have to cough up - to be given to "financially disadvantaged" people - so they can NOT purchase mandatory health insurance and just pay the fine/penalty instead. Another fine example of our government in action. Spending tons more taxpayers' money, money taxpayers don't have, on things taxpayers can't afford, to be used on things that taxpayers don't want. Brilliant.
Whatever happened to "government of the people, for the people, and by the people"?
Welcome to Obama Care, 2014. This health care law, called, "The Affordable Health Care Act" I hereby rename "The Unaffordable Health Care Act". This act is also known as Obama Care, which I hereby rename "Obama Doesn't Care".
Congratulations Obama Care, for spending $26 billion we don't have, you deservedly earned this week's Stu Pitt Award!
