new words

Among the new words added to Dictionary.com in 2015:

"Mx.: Defined as a title of respect prefixed to someone's surname. It does not indicate a gender and may be used by a person with any or no specific gender identity, according to Dictionary.com."

Huh? That's really dumb. Mx? It looks more like the abbreviation for Mexico to me. Or roman numerals. M=1000, X=10. That equals 1010. Instead of Mx how about we respectfully refer to people as 1010 + their name. Yeah, why don't you just call me 1010 Stu Pitt.
